Spencer Easton
Spencer has been in the construction industry for 18 years. He is the Co-Founder / Trainer for LeanTakt and a Project Director at Elevate Construction. He co-authored the book Takt Planning and Integrated Control. He worked in the trades for the first decade of his career while attending night classing to achieve his Bachelors degree in Construction Management. He holds certifications from PMI-SP, AACE-PSP, AGC CM-Lean, Acumen Fuse and Risk Analysis certified. He has mentored, coached, managed and trained thousands of individuals lean principles and tools and loves to share concepts that make a difference in a happier work environment and work life balance.
Andrew McLaughlin
Superintendent, Turner Construction
Andrew has more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry. He began working in civil construction in the field as a laborer. He then worked three years in a manufacturing environment, where he began his lean journey. Later, he moved to an office role in the drywall trade. It was during this time that he discovered LCI and that lean has an application in construction. Eventually, Andrew became a Lean Manager at Turner Construction, teaching and coaching around lean construction principles. Today Andrew is a Superintendent at Turner, leveraging his roots in the trades as a way to identify with craft workers, applying lean where it makes sense and adds value, in an effort to make the job a success for everyone involved. Andrew is committed to providing trades with an extraordinary job site - one where they can successfully perform their work safely, grow and learn. Respect for people, continuous improvement, and stabilized environments are the foundations for his lean implementation.
Joshua Kreitler
Project Superintendent at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc.
Josh is a Project Superintendent and Lean Practitioner with experience implementing Last Planner System, Takt and Scrum with project teams on multimillion dollar construction projects. Joshua actively serves on the McCarthy Lean Leadership Team and as a Core Team Member of the Lean Construction Institute St. Louis Community of Practice.
Boone White
Superintendent, ICM Construction
Boone was raised on a farm in rural Mississippi. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2008 and went on to work for Hoar Construction, LLC as an assistant superintendent where he had the opportunity to work on several different types and sizes of projects all over the country and gained a well-rounded knowledge base of building. Boone’s career was forever changed in 2015 when he was introduced to Lean after reading The Goal and 2 Second Lean. Shortly after that, he learned The Last Planner System and helped implement it on several projects. From that, Boone’s heart was changed in a way that drives him to find better ways to build projects with respect for people. In 2019, Boone and his family decided to move back to his hometown of Oxford, MS and join ICM Construction. Boone has been charged with implementing Lean concepts and practices throughout the company, but his goal is to eventually impact and improve the construction industry in Mississippi and the surrounding states.
