The purpose of this webinar is to help participants realise that construction is broken in many, many ways that go right to the heart of the way the sector is organised — they include inadequacies in structural, legal, financial, organizational and behavioural aspects of the sector. A good way to address this range of causes is to improve quality.

To improve quality in construction it is first necessary to understand what is broken and then decide where to begin the improvement process.

Alan Mossman, the webinar presenter, will review a wide range of evidence that the design and construction sector is broken – evidence that the sector is not delivering what owners and clients want, nor is it producing the margins that designers and constructors expect.

Following the webinar it will be for you to gather evidence that makes sense in your organisation as you seek to build backing for a sustained process of improvement in the organisation and beyond.

The webinar is aimed at:

  • Owners and clients
  • Designers and design team members
  • Constructors and construction team members
  • Consultants
  • ....everyone in the construction sector
